Here at MajAnns Australian Labradoodles, we strongly believe that every dog deserves to be a member of a loving family, in a forever home. Caring for an ALD companion takes a considerable amount of time every day. Exercises, socialization, grooming, feeding, reward-based training, play time and providing love, company and attention are all critical requirements needed by the dog to be happy, healthy, and well-balanced. Some ALDs will require more of your time than others but each will require daily care. Puppies are a particularly large time investment. Therefore, before engaging in this program, you need to be sure you have time enough to dedicate to your companion.
The Full Ownership is likely the less restrictive scheme among both adoption programs. It comes with an agreement that require you to spay/neuter your dog by the age of 18 months at the latest, at the expenses of the breeder, not exceeding a certain amount. Though the program is named ‘Full Ownership’, in reality the breeder retains the full ownership of the dog until it is spayed/neutered. It is therefore fundamental to understand that dogs in this program should by no means, even accidentally, be used for breeding.
